ABOUT ME
"Designing a dream city is easy; rebuilding a living one takes imagination"Â
-Jane Jacobs

I am a Master of Planning graduate (May'19) from USC Sol Price School of Public Policy with a focus on Economic Development, Housing Affordability and Urban Data Analysis. I am interested in learning the adaptive and evolving Planning processes along with community engagement and development strategies that modern American cities are developing to tackle issues related to equity, density, transit, development; and be able to link these participatory techniques in the long term with the lack of urban infrastructure and the challenges faced by populous and developing cities fighting economic inequality in India. I am an avid learner who is always curious about learning new things, and a practice that I would like to continue throughout my professional career.
Crazy about all things funny, bringing up random statistical facts in conversations and always onboard for milkshakes would be the three social traits that I relate to the most. Some of my current favourite individuals are Dave Chapelle, Kate Mckinnon, J.Cole, AOC & Ravish Kumar who have used their platform or art to spread awareness and question the people in power. CityLab, Sidewalk Labs, Ideas for India, Vice News and FiveThirtyEight are a few organizations that aspire me to do what I do and learn new experiences that drive the modern narrative towards a diverse socio-cultural perspective of our world and supporting technological abilities that will help shape our visions of tomorrow.
